In October 1951 a small group of local residents along with the assistance of another local church in Beaumont came together to plant LaBelle Baptist Church.  They began meeting in a tent set up each Sunday for services.  Over time, as funds were available, they eventually built a facility.  From its very beginning LBC has existed to reach others with the gospel of Jesus Christ and create a growing Christian community.
